Who We Are
The Strategic Planning Rotarians’ Fellowship (S-PRoF) is a global vocational fellowship officially recognized by Rotary International.
We unite Rotarians, Rotaractors, alumni, and professionals who are passionate about strategic planning — a vital element for Rotary clubs, districts, and programs seeking sustainable impact.
Our Purpose
- To help members think and act strategically by:
- Developing personal and professional skills in the field of strategic planning;
- Sharing models, templates, and methods adaptable for Rotary clubs and districts;
- Discussing and solving real strategic challenges within and beyond Rotary;
- Promoting Vocational Service through the art of planning.

Current members: over 200, across 6 continents
S-PRoF was founded by PRID Dr. Corneliu Dincă and a team of visionary Rotarians committed to strengthening Rotary’s capacity for long-term impact through better planning.
Our motto and founding documents were endorsed by Rotary International’s Global Networking Groups Committee.
Key Pillars of Our Work
1. Education
- Developing and sharing strategic planning materials and training programs.
- Rotary Club Strategic Plan Template
- Strategic Planning Module (in collaboration with Rotary Leadership Institute – RLI)
- Webinars and online learning sessions
2. Operations
- Supporting Rotary clubs and districts in:
- Building and updating their Strategic Plans
- Aligning club goals with the Rotary International Action Plan
- Coaching leaders on visioning and implementation
3. Partnerships
- Cooperating with Rotary entities and partners such as:
- Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI)
- Rotary Action Plan Team
- District Strategic Planning Committees
Our Structure
Board of Directors
The S-PRoF Board includes Educational, Operational, and Executive Committees composed of experienced Rotarians from all world regions.
The Chair belongs to all three committees.
Committees Overview:
- Educational Committee: Develops training tools, templates, and strategic planning modules.
- Operational Committee: Expands fellowship membership, supports clubs worldwide.
- Executive Committee: Oversees governance, communication, and RI compliance.
Key leaders have included PRID Corneliu Dincă - Charting Chair, PRIP Stephanie Urchick, PRID Jessie Harman, PRID Virpi Honkala, and other distinguished Rotarians and Rotaractors globally.
